Balanced like Porsche intended. Built for the newest GT3.

Since 1999, the 911 GT3 has run one formula: naturally aspirated engine, motorsport-derived chassis, no shortcuts. The 992.2 is the latest and sharpest expression of that formula and one of the last cars built that way. That starting point deserves respect, not a redesign.

ADRO's aero program for the 992.2 GT3 was built to honor that. The goal wasn't to reinvent the car. It was to make it faster where it counts: more downforce, at minimal drag cost, without disturbing the front-to-rear balance Porsche already tuned in. Every component in this kit earns its place by contributing to that single objective.

THE ENGINEERING

Front Fenders

A front wheelarch at speed is a pressure trap. Air pumped in by the rotating wheel and fed in from the underbody has nowhere to go — and that trapped high-pressure air does two bad things at once: it pushes up on the bodywork, generating lift exactly where you want grip, and it chokes the flow trying to pass under the front splitter.

The ADRO front fenders solve both. Upper vents on the guards give that high-pressure air a clean exit path over the top of the wheel, while pressure relief exits behind the front wheels bleed the arch out to the low-pressure zone along the body side. Venting the arch drops the pressure inside it — which cuts front-end lift directly, and lets the splitter and underbody pull through more flow, increasing the downforce the whole front end generates. The splitter can only work as hard as the arch lets it.

There's a drag benefit too: air that exits the arch in a controlled way, where the fender directs it, creates far less turbulence than air forced out chaotically around the wheel and into the flow along the side of the car.

Replacing the fender changes what packages behind it, so ADRO engineered its own washer fluid reservoir that sits behind the fender in place of the factory piece. You keep full washer function with nothing to fabricate or relocate.

The Numbers

Paired as a complete system, the full 992.2 GT3 aero kit increases downforce by 21% over stock for roughly a 1% drag penalty, based on CFD simulation at 180 km/h (112 mph), while holding the GT3's original front-to-rear balance. In raw terms, that's 244N (55 lbs) of load at that speed — but downforce isn't ballast. It presses the tires into the road without adding weight the car has to carry through a corner or haul down under braking, and it builds with speed, so there's more of it exactly when you're leaning on the car hardest. That's balanced grip you can actually use, with almost no loss of straight-line speed.
